            STAR OF THE MONTH: BLESSING MAGORE Blessing Magore is a Zimbabwean born artist based in the UK. The 27 year old singer has created his own unique fusion of his Zimbabwean sound and afro-pop music with some hints of reggae and dance hall. Blessing has performed on various stages in the UK including the NEAT14 festival and 2019 Cricket World Cup screenings. Blessing is not only a vocalist but he can play the mbira,drums,piano,marimba and the guitar.   STAR OF THE MONTH: MEET DJ QUEST DJ Quest describes himself as the African version of Electronic Dance Music, capable of reaching the iconic level of the likes of Avicii. Ali Phiri aka DJ Quest was born in Bulawayo Zimbabwe and he is currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa. DJ Quest grew up in a music loving home and his parents are his biggest fans. The DJ/producer started his musical journey in high school and he never looked back since then. His music skills include an infectious melody and hard hitting bass. DJ Quest grew up listening to different genres of music, however EDM is a genre that he has always been passionate about. He describes EDM as a genre that is universal and people from different parts of the world will always dance to it. Rayaaz is a 25 year professional dancer and creative based in Gweru, Zimbabwe. Rayaaz is passionate about the arts and entertainment industry. He is part of Gweru's best dance crew, Voltage dance crew. Voltage Dance crew consists of four members whose common goal is dancing.  Rayaaz is passionate about mentor ship and this led him to open his dance school, Making moves, with the help of the Voltage Dance crew members the aim of the school is to create a platform where upcoming dancers can exchange and learn more about dance. Models edition featuring Shadel Noble This week’s models edition feature is Shadel Noble, Shadel is a multi-award winning model based in Bulawayo Zimbabwe. He has featured in fashion shows such as the Fashion without Borders in Botswana, the Mpumalanga Fashion and design week in South Africa, Ekurhuleni Fashion week in South Africa.  Shadel holds the male model of the year title and has received an international award at the Mpumalanga Fashion and Design Week and the Best International model at the Zambian Fashion Awards.  Besides modelling Shadel is a basketball player and he plays for the Oilerns team. MODELS EDITIONS FEATURING NOMONDE SIGAWUKE Hey there, so this month I am running with the models edition theme, the star of the month theme has been put on the shelf. This month is exciting as I will be featuring models who are thriving in the modeling industry. The first models edition feature is Nomonde Sigawuke she is also known as Monde Black. Nomonde who was born in Bulawayo is a screen writer, model, blogger, vlogger and she is currently studying BA honors in Film and theatre arts.  Nomonde‘s modelling career began in 2014, she was inspired by Samantha Tshuma and Brita Maseluthulini. Star of the month: Christopher Mpofu This month I took a different turn, i decided to do a sports feature (there’s a first time for everything right). Christopher Mpofu who is also known as Bobby is a Zimbabwean cricketer whose playing role is pace bowling. He has been playing on the international scene for over a decade and he has played for major teams such as Amakhosi, Mashonalnd, Matabeleland and Matabeleland Tuskers. Christopher has represented Zimbabwe at Test, ODI and Twenty20 international level. He describes this experience as an experience of a lifetime. According to his Wikipedia page, he is the world record holder for conceding the least number of runs without bowling a maiden over in a T20 international after bowling the complete quota of overs.
