STAR OF THE MONTH: MOORE CHAITA

Hey embracers i hope you all good, well i am excited we have entered a new season, spring (whoop, whoop). Anyway enough about my spring excitement, i present to you the star of the month Moore Chaita. Moore is my former classmate and i decided to interview him because i noticed that the young man is destined for greatness. Moore is a young man who is passionate about cooking and media. I am happy that i got the opportunity of interviewing him.
Tell us about yourself
My name is Moore Kurai Chaita the 2nd after my late father and I was born on the 7th of December 1993. I grew up in a family of three that consists of two boys and one girl and to add on that I am the last child in the family. I was born and bred in a medium density suburb of Nketa 8 in the city of Bulawayo and what I will never forget about the place that I grew up in are the dusty streets that we used to play on when we were young. I am a jovial person who relates to everyone in an effort to break each and every barrier that society has built around the various spheres of life.  God, family, music, passion and dreams keeps me going  and makes me a man I am today,  in general  this is the me you need to know about me.
What inspired your passion for cooking?
It all started in my mother’s kitchen before the media even caught my attention. As a child I used to watch my mother cook and each passing day I was willing to learn more and more about food. On the other hand I remember back in the days my sister used to bring us food she prepared at school and we used to enjoy her cooking to an extent that she used to try some of the recipes at home. My other passion media impacted on my love for cooking and the hospitality industry as a whole because it showed me the real picture of what I was always meditating on therefore my family and media inspired me.
Besides being a foodie what is your other passion?
Besides food I am fully committed to the media world as a whole music and film included. I enjoy creating and writing short films and songs and I can’t wait to fully finish working on my projects so that I can share my creativity with the world. To wrap the passion part I can say I am very passionate about being a responsible and exemplary parent though I am still far from being one kkkkkkk.
What are your thoughts on the stereotype of women being the only ones who can cook?
Through society’s labelling theory of attempting to give meaning to the world stereotypes have been created like the one that women are the only ones who cook.  Personally I don’t think it’s the most suitable and accepted mental attitude but high five to the 21st century men such as Gordon Ramsey that have stood up and worked so hard to pave way for upcoming foodies as you say it.
Where do you see yourself in the near future?
I see myself owning one of the best restaurant brands in the country, continent and even the world that will offer different food service methods for all clienteles from different walks of life. On the other hand I view myself owning a record label that will be responsible for the production of my music and other artists thus leading to the growth of the local music industry.
Who is that one person who inspires you to push yourself?
My mother is my best inspiration No lie. She has taught me a lot of things and she has always stood up to fill the gap left by my father  and up to today she still sits me down to tell me about the realness of life.
Parting words
Creativity is a seed that God planted in each and every individual and it is that individual’s duty to provide suitable conditions for the seed to germinate.
